High Holidays - 2017 / 5778

Join us for High Holiday services with Chabad of Oxnard where prayers are warm, the people friendly, and where everyone feels right at home!

OUR STYLE
We offer a welcoming service to all, regardless of
background or affiliation. Our style is friendly and welcoming. We seek to make all our attendees as comfortable as possible. The services are conducted with the beginner in mind. Many of the prayers are therefore read in English and a running commentary by the rabbi accompanies the entire service, including stories, inspirational thoughts, teachings about the prayers. The service includes much festive as well as meditative singing.

CHILDREN
We offer an excellent children's program during parts of the main services. The programs are run by loving and engaging teachers, who will explain the meaning of some of the prayers. Stories, songs, refreshments, contests and prizes will be included in this special holiday children's program. There is a suggested fee for this program however -just like the holiday services- no one will ever be turned away to to inability to pay. Click here for more about the children's program!

COST
There is no charge, membership fees or tickets required to attend the services! We do however have a suggested donation to help us cover costs. The suggested donation per seat is $180 for both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur or $100 for just one of the holidays. Please feel free to donate according to your means. Nobody should ever feel unwelcome due to an inability to donate.
