Finally, 10/10. I am not sure I understand some of it yet. But at least I have the idea of what it should be, the why is getting filled in. Reply

My typical 9/10. Perfection is so hard to achieve. Reply

I will still study, I am not yet convinced it is set in stone.for me, just a little longer. Reply

I love these quizzes. Such a great idea and allows one to learn the correct answer - Yes.. I got some wrong!! Reply

Steve Ky May 26, 2023

Rabbi,
Some very clever questions in this quiz!
Excellent! Reply

Thalia US May 25, 2023

The first time I took the quiz, more than half were guesses. I was really grateful that my score was 5/5. Then I went back and studied something about Shavuot and though I got the obvious answer Ruth wrong the second time (in too much of a hurry to see if I learned even a little) I got 8/10 the second time. It would have been 9/10 with Ruth. I went to another site and got overload on Shavuot, Moses and more. I know what I am studying tonight. Reply

I got number 8 wrong, but when I read the facts about Morrocan Jews, it didn't mention anything about throwing water at each other. So, where did this custom come from? Or perhaps the answer was wrong? Reply

Menachem Posner May 28, 2023
in response to Rivka:

Sorry, Rivka.
We have nothing on this custom on the site right now. G-d willing, I hope someone will write something. Reply

It's true …I remember participating in water fights as a child with family and friends as a child during the

6/10 Thanks Rabbi Posner for the quizzes! I was hoping to do better on this quizzes! I am still learning! Happy Shavuot! Shalom. Reply

I got 9 out of 10 correct. Not bad for a goy. Reply

I used to be Jewish, but not Orthodox. I szppose 7/10 isn't terrible for someone like me — it's been many years. Reply

Question # 4. In Israel there is only one day of Shavuoth, therefore Yiskor is being said a day ahead. Reply

I would imagine #4 since Shavuot is only 1 day in Israel. Reply
